The 2010 Car of the Year award will be chosen from the seven finalists namely: the Citroen C3 Picasso, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Vauxhall/Opel Astra, Peugeot 3008, Skoda Yeti, Toyota iQ and Volkswagen Polo. The 58 jurors, who represent 22 countries, will announce a winner on November 30.
The jurors will have another round of voting on November 27. This year is expected to be one of the closest contests yet. The Opel/Vauxhall Insignia was named Car of the Year 2009 with 321 points against 320 for the Ford Fiesta. The Volkswagen Golf had taken third place with 223 points.
