McLaren delays the U.S. launch of the MP4-12C supercar

McLaren is finding it increasingly difficult to set up a US dealer network for its new MP4-12C supercar. It’s hard enough to get the attention of people who could afford six-figure supercars. There is also that challenge of convincing dealers to commit to a one-model lineup. McLaren initially planned to bring the car to the L.A. Auto Show in December for a US debut but that plan has now been cancelled. It’s believed that the earliest that the MP4 would be arriving in the US is the middle of 2010.
