One-off custom Spanish Tramontana on sale for €2 million

A new car gains entry at the top 5 most expensive cars listed for sale on JamesList. Designed by renowned artist Fernando Leal-Audirac, the one-off custom Spanish Tramontana supercar uses paint enriched with gold and precious gems. It costs €2 million, which means it is tied for 4th place with a rare McLaren F1.

Topping the list is the “Star of India” Rolls-Royce while the others are Bugatti Veyrons. The Tramontana has a carbonfiber body and is listed by Milan’s Teumim Group. It has a twin-turbo V12 engine, making it have an output of 760 hp and allowing it to accelerate 0-100 kph in 3.6 seconds. Leal-Audirac’s paints produce an iridescent effect reacting to movement and light. Colors change from purple to cobalt blue, and from green to gold. It is designed to be a silk sculpture on wheels and it’s creators say that it is the “the synthesis of the artist’s poetic vision in which art, tradition, technique, design and technology coexist through a constant research, incarnating the charm, the myth and the dynamics of contemporaneity.” In short, it can be described to look like the Batmobile was crossed with Picasso’s Hispano-Suiza.
